Welcome to Coombe Bissett Church of England
VA Primary School
At Coombe Bissett Primary School, we take pride in our reputation for providing a high quality education, where academic achievements are achieved in a happy and nurturing environment.
It is our aim that children come to school each day with a desire to learn, a smile on their face, and a motivation to do their very best. We hope that after a day of learning and fun with their friends the smile that they leave with is an even bigger one than the one they arrived with!
Our class sizes allow our pupils to receive levels of high quality, personalised attention that are more challenging to achieve in larger environments. The children benefit from a team of dedicated staff who are committed to helping each and every child fulfil their potential.
Good manners, high expectations, and a Christian ethos of respecting and caring for one another, all combine to make Coombe Bissett an exceptional school to which we are all proud to belong and where real learning happens.
We invite you to visit our school and see first-hand all that we have to offer. I look forward to meeting you and finding out more about your son or daughter.
We have limited places available in some year groups
Please contact the School Office on 01722 718380 for further information.
What the children think
Coombe Bissett is a small village primary school with 4 mixed age classes nestled gently within the rolling countryside just outside of Salisbury.
We are a friendly, family-centred and happy community. Our children are at the heart of everything we do and are nurtured within a caring Christian ethos to become the best versions of themselves that they can be.
"The school is safe but also fun. There is always someone to talk to if you are sad or worried" Rose, Year 6
"School is so much fun, our learning is disguised, sometimes it is so much fun we don't even realise that we are learning!" Toby, Year 6
"Everyone is nice to each other and nobody is mean" Year 2 pupil
As part of Fir Class' Enquiry, 'What makes our school special?', they had their first ever go at making videos about our school. Here are some of their results.
